Description of the problem | Limp mode- my mustang about a few months ago when in to limp mode. I was driving down the highway at around 70 when i lost all power to my car and the wrench light came on. I was able to get off the freeway and shut my car down for about 5 minutes. After my car started and i went on my way. I did some research and found it could be the etb (electrical throttle body) it has been find until this weekend. Today i had to reset my vehicle 6 times during a few hour running around. The last time my vehicle just threw a code. I do not want to drive it because i am afraid that i might cause more damage then what it could. Ford said unless it is a full recall i would have to pay for it. I have found other tps and a law sue about this for all years but mine. The part is about 350-450 plus labor. |
