Description of the problem | This is a safety recall issue loosing power steering in my mustang while driving. After further research on this problem ford does have lots of recalls on this problem. But didn't find my year 2014 for a recall. The problem is i did loose my power steering while driving and this is unsafe since i do drive my car fast. My default light or warning light did come on as i pulled over and found it hard to steer my vehicle. This is the first time my car has done this and will monitor the problem. I tried to restart the car my turning the key off and on a few times but did not fix the problem. So i reset the system by disconnecting the battery cables and that did fix the problem and got back my power steering on my mustang. There is no power steering pump on this car as the rack pinion is controlling the power steering. |
