Description of the problem | New vehicle less than 500 miles. Bad vibration while driving at highway speeds. The vibration starts at around 60 mph and is present all the way beyond 80 mph. The vibration can be felt inside the vehicle and also through the steering. Ford re-balanced the tires and also replaced the driveshaft, but vibration still persists. From other sources in the internet it looks like this is a problem which is not uncommon on mustangs and ford seems to refuse to acknowledge the issue. Since this occurs at highway speeds and seems to be coming in from the drivetrain makes this issue scary. |
