Description of the problem | This is in reference to,ford recall no. 99s3, or nhtsa recall no. 99v309. Recently our 1995 windstar developed the identical problem described in the aforementioned recall, fuel did leak out all over our garage, driveway, and my wife drove it with our two children for days without realizing the gas was leaking, over the exhaust, tires, & brakes. We went to our local ford dealer (heritage ford, modesto, ca.) & were told there was no recall on this problem. I had to pay $550. 00 to repair it. I think a failure with this much danger should be covered by ford, especially when there is already a recall for the exact problem, but my vin number is not included.*ak |
