Description of the problem | Transmission failures occured over a period of time. The transmission began slipping between 40 and 50,0000 miles, primarily wehn accelerating from a stop or slow rolling condition to driving speeds. Driving habits were altered to insure the slipping condition would not create a hazardous situation, where possible (ie avoiding pulling out onto the travel lanes without having a considerable amount of space) |
