Description of the problem | Tl*the contact owns a 2010 gmc acadia. While the contact driving approximately 55 mph in first gear, the transmission failed, and the rpms began to increase. The check engine warning light illuminated on the instrument panel. Whenever a right turn was attempted, the vehicle stalled. The vehicle was safely driven to a location to be parked and upon restart the vehicle momentarily operated as normal until the failure recurred. The vehicle was towed to an authorized dealer where the technician stated there was a transmission failure. The failure occurred after the dealer previously replaced the transmission. The vin was not available. The failure and current mileages were 9,400. |
