Description of the problem | 2010 acadia front wheel drive , when in drive or in park on incline the car will roll backward or forward depending on which way the incline is. It does not hold when you move your foot from the brake to the accelerator while sitting at a traffic light or when you are parking. I have had the car bump a passenger when they walked around the front of my car to get in and i had placed the car in park and took my foot off the brake. I have owned many cars and vans and have never experienced this type of problem and it occurs often and the dealership service department is ignoring the problem. If an elderly person or child should happen to be close to the car when this happens it could cause serious harm. |
