Description of the problem | While driving my acadia south on interstate 5 in washington, the dashboard "service air bag" light came on, and would not shut off. I took the car to my gmc dealer. The service department told me that there were no recalls, the factory warranty had expired, and my extended warranty did not cover airbags. I am quite disappointed that this electrical problem is not covered and will cost me over $400. 00 to have repaired. The dealer said the cause was a problem with the connections under the passenger seat, that the gmc technician had to cut and resolder the connections and reattach them, in order to solve the problem. |
