Description of the problem | First, 2 days after we purchased the car, the engine light came on. Then the front camera needed service and the side warnings stopped. Then the seat heaters quit. The fobs both quit working, would. It properly unlock the doors. We got an airbag needs service warning. A check gages warning. A service tire monitoring system warning. Finally, the engine locks up and won't start, turn over, or anything. Several hours later, the car starts. Then it goes through the whole cycle again over the next few weeks til it doesn't start again and leaves us stranded. Again. The first time, the mcdaniel gmc service department changed out the battery and believed that would fix it. We paid $190 for that. It didn't work. It went through the same cycle again within a month. Now they expect us to pay to have he module fixed, even though they knew there was a recall for it when hey sold it to us. |
