Description of the problem | When stoped on a hill the transmission goes into neutral & the car rolls backward down hill when you take your foot off the brake to take off again. Took it to a gmc dealer &a they told us they drove a 2013 acadia & a 2015 buick with the same drive train as ours & both cars rolled back like ours so they determined it was "normal"! I was a ford tech for 32 years and never ran into a problem like this, i do not feel it's normal. What will happen if we roll back into another car or hit someone who walks behind the car?? This has happened coming out of parking lots near our house, & it happened on i 40 when we were going to texas for vacation there was an accident ahead of us & we were stuck in the hills outside williams ariz i had to drive with one foot on the brake & the other on the gas to keep from rolling back in heavy traffic. Thank you for your time |
