Description of the problem | Driving at low speeds in rush hour traffic and "degraded steering" warning with chime sounded. Cleared itself and then chimed again with same warning about three minutes later. This was followed by stabilitrack warning and red brake warning. Steering was somewhat harder to turn but was still being assisted. There didn't appear to be any degradation to braking. Maybe the anti-lock system? The a/c then turned off and the radio volume went silent. The stabilitrack switch, a/c controls and radio controls were all ineffective. I noticed the amp gauge was below 12 as it seemed as if the truck electrical system was underpowered. I drove ten miles home and all systems reset by turning truck off and starting it up again. This is first time this has happened. Truck has 66k miles on it. |
