Description of the problem | The backseat headrests do not remain in the upright position. They slide down with the slightest contact from the person's head. The maintenance/service person at the dealership indicated that there has been numerous complaints from owners. He indicated that at this time it is a "no fix" problem. This is unacceptable and does not meet the national highway traffic boards regulations on headrest equipment. This is a real safety concern. The service department indicated that a latch needs to be installed to hold the headrest in place. If this is not corrected, people will at some point in time sustain serious injury. I feel like contacting 60 minutes with the problem and your response. |
