Description of the problem | Tl*the contact owns a 2006 gmc 2500 cargo van. While the vehicle was parked, the contact was unable to open the rear passenger cargo door. The hinge was bent and misaligned; the bottom pins were also rusted. The vehicle had not been inspected or repaired at the time of the complaint. The contact called the manufacturer who referred him to the dealership to have the vehicle repaired at his expense; they stated that they would decide if they would assist in the expenses. The failure mileage was approximately 40,000. The current mileage was approximately 43,000. |
