Description of the problem | As i was leaving las vegas on i 15, i got a message of reduced power. I was just out of heavy traffic, traveling about 70 mph, when the engine slowed to about 1,000 rpm with out warning. Found out later that it was a broken lead wire to the throttle position sensor. The truck had about 37,000 miles onit. The truck is a 2007 2500hd with 6. 0 engine. The trucki has never been worked on,and is line new. Dealer installed p/n 88986255 connector. I received half or the cost back after calling gmc. I feel that this is a safety problem. As i was just out of heavy traffic and could pull off of the road. |
