Description of the problem | Cracked dashboard. The dashboard on my 2008 sierra 2500 has three extremely large cracks, one of which ties into the airbag. All of the cracks appeared spontaneously. In the event of a collision, these dashboard parts would become the equivalent of shards of glass flying around in the cab of my pick up. Gmc is refusing to acknowledge that this is a widespread safety problem and wants to charge me $1200 to replace the dash with another one that is is known to do the exact same thing. There is no resolution to the problem. |
