Description of the problem | I own a 2014 gmc sierra 2500hd. It is in very good condition and well maintained with less than 140,000 on it. One day after work i got into my truck and as soon as i started it i heard my dash crack. It cracked just to the right of the instrument panel by the dash vent and windshield. And has been growing ever since. If the dash is this brittle in a truck that is only 6 years old and been very well taken care of it is a safety issue. If i were to get into a crash and my airbags were to deploy, shards of hard brittle plastic would be sent through the cab possibly causing more injuries. |
