Description of the problem | Tl* the contact owns a 2011 gmc terrain. While driving approximately 35 mph, the transmission began to hesitate and jerked. In addition, the transmission slipped gears intermittently with a rapid loss of engine oil. The failure recurred whenever the vehicle was in operation. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, who was unable to locate the failure. The transmission fluid was flushed however, the failure persisted. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 71,000. |
