Description of the problem | Tl* the contact owns a 2011 gmc terrain. While driving approximately 60 mph, the vehicle decelerated to approximately 30 mph and did not accelerate. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic who stated that the total control module failed and needed replacement. The vehicle was repaired, but the failure recurred. The vehicle was taken to the same independent mechanic who stated that the vehicle had a very high oil consumption and needed a new engine.
