Description of the problem | At slower speed, brakes become stiff and was unable to stop vehicle. The brakes did not engage all the way to the floor as normal and instead stopped about 1/4 of the way and was solid even when pressing both feet on the brake. Almost rear-ended the vehicle in front of me but since i was at such a slow rate of speed i was able to roll a few feet and the vehicle stopped. I had to turn the vehicle completely off and start it back up and it seemed to work fine but the next time i was in the vehicle at the slow rate of speed, the brakes then again were very hard to press. I do not feel comfortable driving the vehicle until this problem is taken care of. I contacted the local dealer and they told me it would be 5 days until they could get to it - disappointed in that considering the severity of the issue. |
