Description of the problem | After letting my son exit on the drivers side, tried to return seat to normal position and could not. After struggling with it, a plastic part in the seat track broke and then seat would not stay in place at all. Carefully drove to nearest gm dealership and was told part was not in stock, would take up to a week and was very expensive. I was on vacation, so could not wait, tried salvage yards, no luck. Had upholstery shop drive large screw into track to lock it in place and have not been able to locate a part. |
