Description of the problem | Gmc-chevrolet pickup trucks, year 2000 to current. Brake rotors delaminating and rusting, causing brake disc pads not to grip the rotor. Frequent problem causing brakes to work poorly. Gmc refuses to replace poor quality brake rotors even under new car warranty. Serious decay in braking from high speed, towing or with loads in the truck. Dealer admits problem, factory refuses to fix. Aftermarket rotors by ebc work properly for safety in stopping. Ac delco rotors are seriously defective. Narrowly avoided an accident with poor brakes on a truck 2 years old with 13,000 miles. Well known problem discussed around the internet. |
