Component | PARKING BRAKE |
Product type code | VEHICLE |
Description of the problem | Parking brake did not hold. 1 rotor was bad and parking brake shoes were bad. Even after repair, parking brake goes all the way to floor. I believe brake shoes were defective when vehicle was purchased. This is poor engineering on gm's part. I think i should be reimbursed fully for repairs on parking brake. Since there was a service bulletin to dealers, i think the customer should have been advised. This was very unsafe. We had to pay $439. 47 for something that should not have happened. This was on 2001 gmc yukon. |
