Description of the problem | The ebcm went out on my 2001 gmc yukon abs system causing the abs pump to run continually even without the key on. Pulling the fuse stopped the pump from running, but i don't have abs, which to me is a safety concern. Gm should recall this module for safety reasons, especially since there is a long list of vehicals with this known problem. I have not replaced this part due to the $1000 price from the dealer, nor do i intend to until gm issues a recall on this defective part. For the money that i gave gm for this vehical, i expect more customer service that this, i have given them enough money for them to just brush my safety (and others' safety as well) aside. *ak |
