Description of the problem | Tl*the contact owns a 2003 gmc yukon. The speedometer on the vehicle shows speeds of over 100 mph and never less than 30 mph. As a result, the contact never knows the actual speed he is driving. The vehicle was taken to the dealer numerous times. The first time, the vehicle was still under warranty and the dealer could not duplicate the failure. The contact received a notice from gmc regarding the failure and stated that the vehicle had to have 70,000 miles or less in order to be repaired. He returned to the dealer and was informed that there were no previous failure reports. They advised the contact to bring the vehicle back when it began malfunctioning again. The failure has worsened and is unable to be repaired. The failure mileage was 25,000 and current mileage was 125,000. |
