Description of the problem | Gas gauge does not correctly reflect what is in the tank, have run out of gas or come close quite a few times due to incorrect readings, it will show 1/2 full and drop rapidly within minutes to empty. I've taken it in they said it was the gauge cluster in the dash so they replaced it, it happened again, took it back in and of course at that time it was out of warranty they said they have not heard of any problems at the dealership in regards to this problem and that they assume the sending unit is bad and would replace it if i paid for it, why this wasn't done the 1st time under warranty is beyond me, but i've noticed on the news that other vehicles are having similar problems and searching the web i see i'm not alone. They need to step up and fix the problem. |
