Description of the problem | Takata recall? (no mention of the airbag manufacturer was made in the recall letter). I received a recall notice from honda in july of 2016. Stating that honda will send me another letter when parts are available to repair my vehicle. Also stating that "honda suggests that you avoid having a passenger sit in the front passenger's seat until the recall repair has been performed". This was 6 months ago. 6 months is a long time to operate a vehicle without being able to have a passenger in the front seat. I did stop in the dealership where i purchased the car and they assured me i would be contacted when parts became available. I have not heard anything back from honda. |
