Description of the problem | I have a broken airbag sensor wire under my front passenger seat. The wire broke on it's own from simply moving the seat for my daughter to get in the back seat. Honda wants over $400 to replace this and claims the wire looks to have been cut. However i am the only owner of this vehicle & never cut this wire. I took the car tp another auto shop who gave me their opinion the wire simply broke thru normal use. I believe honda needs to repair this at no cost as it's a safety concern & now the airbag light stays lit up at all times & i don't know if the airbags will work in an accident. I contacted honda again today about this & even with the opinion of an auto shop they are saying they can't help since the vehicle isn't under warranty. |
