Description of the problem | Engine makes rattling sound that lasts 1-2 seconds when starting engine after overnight idling. Sound of metal-metal rubbing each other. Sound goes away after a few seconds. Complaint similar to one found online where many people complained of same issue and pin-point problem to the vtc (variable timing control) actuator. |
