Description of the problem | A grinding noise when vehicle cold starts started over a week ago and excessive oil consumption over the past few months. Was told by honda dealership that it may cost up to $600 to get the vtc actuator fixed but after doing research found this is a common problem for the 2008-2012 accords. Why should i pay for a known issue by the manufacturer. Ive always been a advocate for honda vehicles but this is unacceptable and a recall needs to be made to fix this and the pistons leading to the excessive oil consumption. I will be fighting this with the dealership on this cost to get it fixed and im highly disappointed in the findings about this issue. |
