Description of the problem | At 28,000 miles the rear brakes had to be replaced, rotors cut to the cost of $314. 59. I bought the car on march 29, 2010 brand new. John in the service department at middletown honda tells me the front brakes are perfect and this is normal wear and tear on the rear brakes- really. I drive highway miles to and from work, no excessive braking so not it is not normal wear and tear on rear brakes. Never had this kind of problem with any of my other new cars - never had this problem. The only thing i was able to get from john was the 800 number to call because he "thought" he had heard something about a class action suit. Thought, really hmmm. In all my years of driving, over 40 years, never have i had this kind of issue any of my cars nor had the service department show the nonchalant attitude towards a customer. Repeat business, i don't think so. |
