Description of the problem | Tl* the contact owns a 2010 honda accord. While driving approximately 30 mph, the contact sped up to avoid a crash and the accelerator pedal became stuck and the brake pedal extended to the floor. The contact placed the gear in neutral, which bumped up the brake pedal to normal position. There were no warning indicators. The vehicle was taken to a local dealer who was unable to diagnose the failure. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and did not respond. The failure mileage was 48,000. |
