Description of the problem | Driving at highway speed with cruise set at 60; braked & slowed to exit onto another road; when manually accelerating to get up to speed initially the car was unresponsive. Suddenly it took off out of control, as if the cruise resume was hit (it wasn't) and the brakes were non-responsive. Acceleration continued until reaching speeds over 70 mph. Not only were the brakes non-responsive during this unexpected acceleration event, but the car was difficult to handle. I purchased this car new and it is immaculately maintained. |
