Description of the problem | I bought the car new with very low mileage (maybe 200 miles). From the time i bought it or very shortly afterwards, the red air bag light was lit on the dashboard. I thought it was normal because it was a brand new car. Then i started focusing on it and noticed that sometimes it wasn't on but most of the time it was. I inquired about it when i took it in for the 5,000 mile oil change and was told there was faulty wiring and the air bag unit needed to be replaced. |
