Description of the problem | 2013 honda accord. Consumer writes in regards to potential transmission defect. *smd the consumer stated the vehicle has defect or malfunction, which created a safety hazard. Specifically, in some low speeds situations, the vehicle lacked immediate responsiveness needed to accelerate out of a tight and potentially unsafe situation. The dealer and american honda were unable to identify the problem because it was intermittent. Therefore, they were unable to provide any fix and only described it as normal operation of the continuous variable transmission. *jb |
