Description of the problem | My accord had starting issues for sometime, few weeks ago it completely dead. Called aaa battery service, they checked and replaced the battery. Again i faced same issue, with in a week my vehicle completed dead, which didn't start. Towed the vehicle to near by honda dealer, they inspected and told that issue was bad starter. And they charged fancy price for that, $431 for spare and $375 for labor just replacing the starter. So many customers facing the issue, within 45,000 miles, honda doesn't care. When i raised this issue to honda they told me that starter is wear part and i need to replace every 40,000 miles. Attached honda sevice invoice for reference. |
