Description of the problem | One morning while driving my daughter to daycare i noticed the smell of gasoline. I took my car to the mechanic and he diagnosed the issue as a faulty high pressure fuel line (the line from the gas tank to the front of the car). Upon receiving the replacement part the mechanic noted that the new fuel line has an additional insulator that prevents this exact issue. I've seen this reported elsewhere as "possible rodent damage" but this is clearly an issue honda is aware of but not addressing via a recall. |
