Description of the problem | As soon as my warranty ran out, a little over 3 yrs and close to 40,000 miles, my starter went bad. Since it was not under warranty, we had the starter replaced in late 2017. My starter started making noises again and would not start sporadically within a year. It has gradually started happening more frequently. My car is 5 yrs old and has 90 000 + miles, and is going to need a 2nd starter replaced. Something has to be burning up my starter. |
