Description of the problem | The failing starter is a well known issue among the honda accord community. The starter begins to fail prematurely and eventually will fail to start the car leaving the driver and or their passengers stranded. This can happen at anytime/anywhere the vehicle needs to be started. There is a current tsb to replace the starter and turn the flex plate one bolt hole over. Many times this happens after any warranty has expired leaving the owner to pay out of pocket a large amount of money. |
