Description of the problem | I had a recalled dated august 2017 to get the vehicle to a nearby dealer problem indicated on the letter: a battery sensor case mounted on top the 12v battery which may have gaps that could allow for moisture to enter the sensor. I took it to a dealer of honda of new rochelle in ny. I was told the part is not available and that american honda will reissue a letter. Considering the risk involved in daily driving the car, how soon will the issue be fixed? I am scared driving this car and freely so. What follow-up information has american honda? Kindly respond.
