Description of the problem | In 2016 howling, humming noise started in rear wheel when driving between 40-55 mph on both city streets and highway. Noise would increase with speed. Dealership diagnosed faulty wheel bearing and replaced it under warranty on feb 13, 2017 at 22,600 miles. After returning home from vacation in fl, the noise started again. The car was taken to my local dealership and was diagnosed again with a faulty wheel bearing at 26,690 miles. Research has shown this is a recurring issue for the 2014-2015 model years for my vehicle. My warranty will be up in november 2017 and i am concerned that i may continue to have recurring issues and expenses due to this known problem. I have been a loyal honda customer and want to know what honda can do to remedy this issue. A vehicle of this age and mileage should not be experiencing this issue. |
