Description of the problem | Shifts from drive to neutral when shifter is slightly contacted, such as removing a water bottle from cupholder near shifter console. This has happened at least 3 times including while driving and when idling. If this happens at 60mph you will slow down to a stop without brake lights lit, possibly in the middle of a highway, may result in rear end accident. I was lucky to have noticed and was able to shift back to drive without accident occurring. I am emailing service department at burns honda regarding this problem today, as they are currently closed for thanksgiving. |
