Description of the problem | I purchased a 2019 honda accord sport black march 2019, exactly 3 months after these white spots showed up on the top of the car the hood, roof, and trunk. I contacted honda about the issue and they immediately blamed it on the weather and its sap. I reached out to corporate office first and they told me to take to the dealership that i purchased it from, i did and they said that they were not responsible for the paint chipping the way it is, you parked under a tree, here it is june of 2020 and i am still trying to get something done to my car. I called my insurance company and they agreed to look at the car and the body shop i took it to said they would not touch it, because honda needs to do something about it, insurance now will not cover it at all. I am lost for words because not only is this a new car it should not be doing this. I can see 10 yrs and neglect but this is not so. I just want my car fix. It should be offered to any customer starting from 2018 to present they need to research it to see how many cars are defected, and they need to be held responsible for it. I reached out to the local news station and i hope something can be done. |
