Description of the problem | On oct. 24 and 25, 2018, a message "airbag system" suddenly appeared on my dashboard. On oct. 25, 2018, i took the car to robertson honda were they determined there was something wrong with the airbag system. I was asked if my car was ever involved in an accident and i said no. He informed me that i would have to pay for fixing the problem because the warranty had already expired. When i protested, he said he would check with his supervisor and when he came back he said they would fix the problem but i would have to pay $90. 00. I didn't tamper with the airbag system so honda should absorb the costs,. I called honda corporate office and was told that because my car was not on the list of recall, and the warranty had already expired, i would have to pay the said amount. Are they right? |
