Description of the problem | Tl* the contact owns a 2017 honda civic. The contact stated that the vehicle's navigation system failed. Although they were on the freeway, the navigation system re-routed them as though they were on the street. The contact also stated that the vehicle's radio failed. The failures occurred without warning. The vehicle was taken to the dealer where it was diagnosed that the system needed a software update. The vehicle was repaired; however, the radio still failed. The vehicle was taken back to the dealer where it was diagnosed that the tuner and antenna needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired, but the rearview and passenger side cameras failed. The vehicle was again returned to the dealer where it was diagnosed that the electrical console needed to be replaced. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 4,900. |
