Description of the problem | Tl* the contact owns a 2017 honda civic. The contact stated that the vehicle failed to shut off. The failure started when the alarm was activated and the key fob failed to unlock the door. The instrument panel indicated remote key system failure. The vehicle was later taken to (honda of mentor located at 8555 market st, mentor, oh 44060, (440) 290-6017) where it was diagnosed that the computer system needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired but remained at the dealer. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 44,000. |
