Description of the problem | New civic sedan just turned over 1 year old and it has always shifted weird at times, almost causing me a few accidents (mainly at acceleration). Stopped by dealership (honda of covington) sometime in the fall and service person said that lots of civic owners stop by and complain about how the transmission shifts, but this is just "how they are" and they will get better as they build more of them. I didn't buy a chrysler or edsel and expected my over 20k spent on this vehicle to be better than that. Sometimes it engages roughly when we shift into drive and sometimes it lags a while then jumps into gear. We now have around 8k miles on this 4 door sedan |
