Description of the problem | My vehicle's air conditioning stopped working. Went to honda dealership and had to pay $206 to flush the ac and replace the freon with dye. Approximately 5 months later the a/c stopped working again. Went back to honda dealership. The leak they state is due to the a/c compressor leaking. Honda provided an extended warranty on the condenser because they are having problems with defective condensers. The dealership stated they will not cover because it is the compressor, not the condenser. It appears honda has been having issues with all components of the a/c of these cars. They won't cover this as i only have 46k miles on vehicle and want to charge $2,049. 00 to replace. In my opinion, the a/c system is defective and all parts should be covered. |
