Description of the problem | The a/c condenser located in the cabin dash was replaced under recall earlier in the year for having a freon leak in the cabin. 6 months later the a/c is not working again, and the dealership suspects that the evaporator has a leak. Researching online yielded me similar results of owners reporting a condenser leak and then an evaporator leak with freon flowing into the cabin air. I assume being in a closed cabin with leaking freon is what spurred a recall on the condensers and, in my opinion, the evaporator should be in a similar scenario |
