Description of the problem | Takata recall - the driver of our recalled car is 17 yrs. Old. We are attempting to get a loaner/rental so we can place him in a safe car until the new airbag is available. Our local dealer in seattle wa, and american honda motor co will not allow a driver under the age of 18 yrs to drive a loaner/rental while we are waiting for this problem to be corrected. They suggested we obtain the rental ourselves, break the terms of the contract and let him drive it. I am uncomfortable allowing my child to drive an unsafe car and i am not going to knowing break the terms of a legal document. Help please. What should i do? |
