Description of the problem | Takata recall- i received my first notice in early april, april 8th called my local dealership and was basically told that the recall was nonsense and there was no reason to worry about anything and they would have parts in 2-3 wks. April 19th called corporate with concerns after talking to dealership. I received an additional recall for the passenger side airbags now are included in the recall. I now have a 2 wk old baby, a 2 yr old, and a vehicle that i am still paying for that i am not comfortable safely putting myself or my family in and no repair dates in the near future. The 2nd recall has the same timeline of summer/fall, i understand this is a huge recall and the number of deaths compared to the number of effected vehicles "isn't that great" but all it takes is 1 accident to destroy my family. |
